Michael Dryga Captures the First Sunset of 2014

It has become something of a tradition for Michael to see the first sunset of the year in Perth, Western Australia. This year too Michael was there and used his trusty iPhone 3GS to capture the sun go down on the first day of the year. Given his location, it is a fair bet to say this is probably one of the first sunset shots of 2014.

The building from where Michael clicked his sunset is also historic. He clicked this image from The Round House in Fremantle. The Round House, built in late 1830, is the oldest building still standing in Western Australia. The building began life as a prison, before becoming the living quarters for the Chief constable…a bit of irony there!
